About

pretty-woman.jpgI began this blog in October of 2007. I write because I have a lifetime full of stories that need to be told. I have lived a rich life and I am not finished yet. I am a story teller. I am an introverted people person.

I was alcoholic and addicted to drugs off and on from age 15 to age 24. Began my journey into sobriety on January 5, 1977. I married the love of my life and my soulmate in 1982. He left me to live forever with Jesus in 2011. I miss him every day.

My daughters live in Fla., Mass., and Hollywood. Five brilliant grand sons and one Princess grand daughter and one tortured poet grand daughter. Bella is my best friend. She is a black girl. We think she is beagle and cattle dog mix.

I work as a hair stylist for film and television. It is creative and fulfilling and I love my work.

Great blog page Coni. I am glad that you have found a place at the Rock. I look back now and realize that I missed God as far as leaving and starting a church.
I can only say that I really really believed it was God leading me. Would love to come to the Christmas presentation but feel uncomfortable going to the Rock.
Not sure if I am welcome there or not. Years have since passed and I am certainly not a threat to anyone as far as starting a church and pullig anybody away. anyway I love you and I remember when you had the eye surgery and had to keep your head down. You never loss your sense of humor.
God bless you and Ed. Hugs to you Your former beach buddy and birthday sharer.

Hi Coni! Just stopping by to check out your blog again. It has been a while since I dropped by. And now since I actually know who you are…… πŸ˜‰ it’s more fun to read what’s going on in your life.

Your job is totally cool! Or at least it sounds like it would be. I’ve always, always wanted to do hair. I just love stuff like that. I’m still toying with the idea of going to school for it just for fun. We’ll see.

Anyway, thanks for making me feel welcome on the worship team as one of the newbies this past week. Have a great week. See ya Sunday! πŸ™‚

Hey Coni!

Thanks for the comment on elephant-girls! πŸ™‚ So, I went to your church last weekend, but had to leave early because of a lunch thing with Joy. You did a great job and it really blessed me to see how much fun you were having! Sorry, I didn’t get to stay and say hello. 😦 And did I catch that your birthday was here and gone?

Happy b-day!

Hi coni! Can’t believe I found this. I didn’t know you had a blog. Cool. I am looking for everybody’s phone numbers since I lost my phone and got a new one. I am such a long way from you in Portland, and had been keeping in touch (via Wendy) but now I don’t even have her number.

Can you pass the word for people to call me at (971)340-0600 so their numbers register or to e-mail me their numbers? (thanks a ton.) Love your blog. Has Wendy told you that I now work as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Funny, huh?

Love, Janet
